Men Who Cheat - Is It Really Only the Men?

Brothels have existed since time immemorial. Who visits these establishments? Men, of course. They pay a fee for their visit, which is negotiated beforehand with the lady. Why is it not the other way around, with women also using a similar service? The few exceptions are not worth mentioning. This alone shows the different needs of the sexes, despite changing zeitgeists such as equality, feminism or other trendy fashions. Biology cannot be changed by theoretical constructs; it keeps its basic structure. A man who is in a relationship still has, in many cases, the desire to sleep with another woman. For him it is not about a partnership, but about pure self-affirmation and gratification.

Men cheating is often a taboo subject when their own wives are around. Wives often do not know that their husband has had a relationship with his secretary or another woman for quite some time. Nor do they find out that their husband regularly visits such establishments. As long as a man is sexually active, he will always take the opportunity when it presents itself. Only when the ability is taken from him has he got through this phase. This experience is also the source of the ironic saying: wanted, impotent husband for life.

Is it really only the men?

When men cheat, the question arises: with whom? Every man who cheats has a counterpart, namely a woman. Are they only single women, or are they women who are also in a relationship and so are having an affair as well? The latter is probably closer to reality. Only the motivation for women is different. Their own relationship is no longer what they expected. So the woman is not averse to taking on a new challenge. She quietly hopes that her new lover has similar thoughts to her own. Once she has gotten involved in a love affair, she usually stands fully behind it, not least because her new relationship is very generous and attentive. All attributes she has long missed in her own husband. Men cheating is not a gender-specific trait, but also involves the women who go along with it.

To what extent women are only seeking a sexual relationship is disputed. However, they have it considerably easier than men if that is all they are after, since proverbially a man would be ready for it on every corner. That is why it is more likely that women, unlike men who cheat, are looking more for a longer-term partnership in the future. Women like to explain their cheating by saying they loved the man. You can believe that, but you do not have to.
